Getting started

If you have previously used HOBOlink, log into LI-COR Cloud with your HOBOlink credentials. If you are new to LI-COR Cloud, start by creating an account. If you are working with the HOBOconnect app, you can create an account directly through the app. If you have issues logging in, contact your sales or support representative.

Creating an account

To create a new account:

  1. Go to www.licor.cloud and select Register Account.

  2. Fill in the form and accept the terms and conditions.

    Use a unique organization name and user name.

  3. Confirm your account.

    Check your email (possibly the spam folder) for a verification message. Follow the instructions in the message to activate your account.

  4. Log in.

Overview of subscription plans

Either a subscription plan or membership in a subscribed group is required to upload and receive data from devices on LI-COR Cloud. The terms of the subscription will specify the number of measurements and logging rate. The software enforces those limits. Subscriptions can be purchased directly in LI-COR Cloud by using a credit card to set up monthly recurring payments. Alternatively, you can purchase a one-year or multi-year subscription with a purchase order. Subscriptions acquired with a purchase order are activated or renewed with a coupon code provided by email. Coupons expire at the end of the term but can be renewed. Contact your sales consultant to acquire or renew a coupon code.

  • If you purchased an MX Gateway or RX Data Logger, you can use a credit card to set up monthly payments directly in LI-COR Cloud, as described at Registering HOBO RX stations. Alternatively, you can purchase a coupon code for a longer-term subscription. MX and RX data plans are described at www.onsetcomp.com/products/software/hobolink.

  • If you purchased an IoE Module with a data plan, the data plan has been created as part of the purchase. A coupon code will be emailed to you separately from the order confirmation email. You can also use a credit card to set up monthly payments, as described at Registering LI-COR IoE modules.
