Registering LI-COR IoE modules

Before you can work with a Water Node (LI-710) or Carbon Node (LI-720), assemble the IoE Module and perform the hardware setup tasks described in the device instruction manuals. Then complete the following steps.

To register a device:

  1. Create a new account or log into your account at www.licor.cloud.

  2. Get the IoE Module Serial Number and Device Key.

The key and serial number are on the IoE Module display (press left and down to view the system information).

The serial number and Dev Key is given under the about screen.

  3. In LI-COR Cloud, select Register Device.

Register the device by entering information.

  4. Enter the IoE Module Serial Number and Device Key.

  5. After LI-COR Cloud verifies the information, click Register.

  6. Activate the data plan.

You can subscribe to LI-COR Cloud by setting up monthly payments with a credit card. If the payment is already configured, simply select the data plan and click Activate.

When activating a data plan, select one from the options.

If the data plans are not active, you may need to enter payment information first. Follow these steps:

    1. Click the Payment Information button.

    2. Enter the required billing and credit card information and click Save.

    3. Select a subscription plan.

    4. Click Activate to start the subscription.

If you have a coupon code, switch to code entry mode.

  7. Fill in any additional information and complete registration.

  8. Save the settings.

The IoE Module is now registered with LI-COR Cloud. Next, you'll configure the Water Node (LI-710) or Carbon Node (LI-720).
